Administrative and quality assurance
Dr Brenda Abbey has the experience, knowledge and skills to review your service's administrative and quality assurance processes, and to provide you with detailed and insightful verbal and written reports which are solution focussed. Prior to operating Childcare by Design, Dr Abbey was a long day care centre director for private, community and school-based services. She was also employed by the Office for Early Education and Care to license and monitor the regulatory compliance of all service types. Dr Abbey was one of only two validators employed directly by the NCAC to conduct the external review of long day care centres.
Dr Abbey mentors Nominated Superivors, Educational Leaders and Service Co-ordinators so that they have the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to confidently and competently fulfil their administrative and leadership roles.
She has developed a computer program which simplifies the task of assessing your service's practices and documentation requirements against each of the NQS indicators. The report generated using this program can be used to inform all aspects of your service's operations, particularly educator professional development and training. The report also ensures writing the QIP is accurate, easy and less time-consuming.
